I’m also an ACE-certified Health Coach with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and a specialty in weight management. I’ve written one of the most fact-based books on the HCG Diet. It’s called The HCG Diet: Fact and Fiction.
In 2017, I lost 27 pounds on my own higher-calorie, higher protein version of the HCG Diet. I ate 1000-1200 calories a day, on average and I have Hashimotos.
I went from 194 to 167 pounds. I’ve since maintained my fat loss and gained 15 pounds of muscle tissue (Testing Method: DEXA).
I am proof that a rapid weight loss diet can work and you can maintain your fat loss long-term, as long as you are willing to change your habits.
